I also provide a writing service for special milestone occasions, speeches or any other memorable or important event.
Now the ‘paperwork’ is out of the way, let me tell you a little about who I am and how I can help you. I’m someone who is passionate about people! I adore talking to them and discovering what it is that makes them tick! I’m a very compassionate, empathetic person, and love reaching out to people and connecting with them….learning their thoughts, feelings and the story that makes them unique.
The funeral ceremony of a loved one is one of the most stressful and emotional days you will have to endure. I can help you through the first stage of the grieving process by writing a ceremony that truly honours and reflects the life of your loved one, and has meaning and authenticity.
I am in the process of becoming a Registered Celebrant (meaning I can perform weddings that encompass legal components). As I danced for 15 years, I have always nurtured my artistic side, and this creative flair is one of the areas I can draw upon to create a beautiful ceremony for you, as the choreography and placement of the bridal party crucial is ensuring you and your partner are the ‘focus’. After all, it’s your day and you both should be the center of attention!
Add to that my love for writing and expressing myself through words, and you have someone who is passionate about providing a ceremony that is honest and true to you both as a couple, tells your story and touches the soul of everyone present.
My writing also encompasses a whole range of services. For many years, I have often had friends approach me and ask me to write something for them….whether it be a eulogy for the loss of a loved one or a speech for a milestone life event. There are so many people that know in their heart and head what they want or need to say, but find it difficult to articulate it and put it onto paper.
This is where I come in! I can be that missing link between having those thoughts and feelings stuck inside you…and making them real and tangible.
It would be an honour and a privilege to get to know you and be a part of that journey with you. Knowing that I have helped someone through a stage in their life that has been joyous, stressful, or special to them, is knowing that I have made a difference. To have made that day a little easier, or celebrate one of pure happiness that they will treasure forever.
